We will have a small group up to 6 for a relaxed workshop with individual attention – easy to follow pottery hand building or pottery wheel techniques. These classes are suitable for all levels.
Osaamme myös suomea, tervetuloa. Vi talar också svenska, välkommen.
At UDUMBARA (est. 1994) is Earth-friendly pottery; we use wild, red clay from the small village of Kultela in Somero, Southwestern Finland. The material gives the products a wonderfully rich earthy character. By choosing this local raw material, Eva wants to emphasize the unique and ecological value of this little used local clay. Wild clay planters are ideally suited for plants physiological needs. Part of their beauty is their tendency to beautify with age as they weather and absorb mineral salts from the soil.
Also, as the sun gives off far more energy than we need to power everything on earth, our studio & kiln are powered by solar energy.
Important: Please register to your classes in good time, as class size is limited (just 6) and will be filled on a first-come, first served basis. And our apologies, but because of the limited capacity, we need to maintain full attendance in all classes, and that’s why we have the exact and strict cancellation policy.
