UDUMBARA’S response to COVID-19

The COVID-19  outbreak is a human tragedy that has a growing impact on our economy. In response to this, UDUMBARA has made a “Limited Edition” series of COVID-19 planter pots.
These handmade local clay pots are now on special SALE -30% and 10€ of each planter sold will be donated to the Unicef emergency fund to cope with the COVID-19 crisis.

Let’s sow the seeds for a brighter future together!

All the products of UDUMBARA (est. 1994) are made of natural clay which comes from the small village of Kultela in Somero, Southwestern Finland.
The material gives our products a wonderfully rich earthy character. By choosing this local raw material, Udumbara wants to emphasize the unique and ecological value of wild clay.

Design Market Online is a one-weekend event taking place online, at Helsinki Design Week’s website, helsinkidesignweek.com. The event begins on Friday the 24th of April and finishes on Sunday the 26th.

Pots and planters of Kultela clay are ideally suited to a plant’s physiological needs.
Part of their tendency to beautify with age as they weather
and absorb mineral salts from the soil.
